With revenue approaching $45m and over 600 dedicated and connected staff, this special not-for-profit entity has a strong focus on community and the provision of diverse lifestyle options for its clients.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Management Team, this pivotal role will provide high quality advice and support to help ensure Bene Aged Care has the capacity and capability to deliver excellence into the future.

Key performance areas include but are not limited to:

  • Leading, managing and practicing in a timely, proactive and customer centric manner.
  • Leading and managing the Human Resources strategic planning, workforce planning, WHS and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establishing, implementing, and maintaining People and Performance systems to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • Advising in relation to workforce management issues, IR and the Employee Management System with practical translation and support where appropriate.
  • Planning, developing, and implementing workforce engagement, recruitment and retention initiatives in conjunction with operational management.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of effective leadership in human resources, industrial and employee relations and WHS in multi-disciplinary and complex organisational settings.

You will have a supportive leadership style, be commercially astute and possess a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines and government policies as well as understand and value good governance practices.

Influential communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate across functional and organisational boundaries and create pragmatic, effective people solutions are vital in this role as are excellent report writing skills.

Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline are also a requirement for this position.
